We closed on our new home on Friday!!! It's official. Our apartment is currently a disaster as we pack and get ready to officially move on Thursday. Yay for new houses. We totally love it and hope you do, too! Watch the video below for a guided tour of the house!
Blazer makes several cameos in the video. There's no furniture yet, so he's pretty much the most interesting thing in the house.
Please excuse me for calling our very light countertops "dark" in the video. I got stage fright or something. I meant that the cabinets are dark and the countertops are light. Oh well. The rest is fun to watch!!

Spring Has Sprung
The weather is warming up and it's time to put away the turtlenecks, boots, and tights. I don't know about you, but I LOVE the casual-ness that is spring and summer clothes. My spring and summer uniform is as follows: casual dress or skirt, tank top, and sandals. Once I find a tank top I like, I've been known to buy one in every color. I'm always on the lookout for cute, casual, comfortable dresses that can go to a shower or on errands. And finally, when I find the perfect sandal, I'm liable to wear them five days a week.
Today I ventured out with my mom's Valentines Day money (thanks, mom!) to see what's new. Since we can all stand to stretch a buck these days, I hit up Target to scope out the spring cuteness factor. Target never lets me down. The clothes were just OK today. I'm always frustrated that I see this fabulous stuff in Target mailers and on TV, but that stuff is never in the store! They do, however, have some awesome shoes right now. For the prices, you can get four trendy pairs instead of one. Here are my faves. I may or may not have bought all of them.
These coral flip flops are casual and cute as well as versatile. No, the stones aren't real. But for less than $20, who cares?
These brown plaid wedges are super-cute. I think they will look great with a brown knit dress or a dark pink skirt I have in mind.

I'm not a trendy person, but I thought I'd try these super cute gladiators.
These wedges are really fun. Love the ruffle. They're a little more dressy.
